Vrouw: biggest women magazine of the Netherlands

On 31 March 2007, De Telegraaf launched its weekly magazine VROUW as an addition to its women-specific pages. This 48-page (minimum), full-colour magazine is part of the Friday* edition of the newspaper. VROUW has a strong female readership of approx. 1.4 million, and is highly rated among its readers. (*Saturday in single copy sales).

VROUW is a weekly magazine for curious women. It is typically Dutch in its outlook, and includes real-life stories that readers can identify with, about the lives of famous and everyday women. The magazine covers a range of topics, including Fashion & Beauty, Psychology & Relationships and Culinary & Healthy Living. Each edition also features columns and editorials written by female Dutch icons.

An online version of the women’s magazine, www.telegraaf.nl/vrouw, was launched in November 2007. This portal is designed to inform and entertain women, and to enable them to interact with other women. Combined, the magazine, website and newspaper provide the perfect multi-media, women-specific platform!
